ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
CRUZ CORTEZ was born out of the shared passion of Yuridia and Fernando, a couple that worked in automotive industry and that frequently traveled with their laptops. While men enjoyed the availability of stylish and practical laptop bags, Yuridia observed a distinct lack of options for women. Driven by their vision for an elegant and functional solution, and driven by passion and dedication, they embarked on the creation of CRUZ CORTEZ.
We strongly embraced the idea that elegance, functionality, and sustainability go hand in hand.
Now we have our small bag start-up in Mexico.
Our dedication lies in creating products that are not just beautiful, but also practical, timeless, and environmentally friendly. Our goal is to inspire and encourage society to follow us on our ways to transform ethical and sustainable practices around the fashion world. Despite its immensity, the Earth’s resources are not infinite, and it’s clear we’ve exceeded its limits. But it’s also resilient. We can save our planet if we commit to it.

MATERIALS
MEIXCAN Cactus leather
Cactus leather is produced from organic cactus grown in Mexico, in a sustainable way without toxic chemicals, phthalates and PVC. It lasts up to 10 years.
Our cactus leather is certified by PETA, USDA Organic, SGS, UKAS, DAkkS and Öko-Garantie. The search to develop a comprehensive environmental culture in our country is not an easy path. In CRUZ CORTEZ, we seek to balance the supply chain with sustainable alternatives that point in that direction, and with your effort we are building a proposal in which responsible consumption, luxury and sustainability can go hand in hand.
Bringing you the perfect handbag, fusing sustainability with a wearable, contemporary design. thereby highlighting timelessness and minimalism in each bag.
Our luxury is all about the time, love and care we put into our developments
CRUZ CORTEZ has decided to advantage high quality, using exclusively CACTUS leather and recycled fabrics. We produce a limited number of pieces by working with family workshops in Mexico. CRUZ CORTEZ is constantly searching for tomorrow's innovative materials and taking care of every part of the production stages.
